Running a French Holiday Gite in Rural Brittany

Here comes the (2009) sun .. la la la la

I don't know why but the words of The Beatles' 'Here Comes the Sun' just popped into my head as being entirely appropriate:
Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter
Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here
Here comes the sun, here comes the sun
and I say it's all right

My thoughts are turning to summer and despite being booked solid for August 2008 I'm already thinking about the forthcoming 2009 season as we've only a few months left of this year.

Last year I was amazed when we received our first 2008 booking on 5th August 2007 but as I've already had one enquiry a week ago about 2009 dates I thought I'd better get on and create the prices and availability for next year.

All of 2009 is now available for holiday booking with weekly rents being increased slightly for the absolute peak summer months but being pegged at the same level as 2008 for the rest of the year.

And for once we've actually got ourselves personally organised as a family and decided on our own summer 2009 holiday, every year we prevaricate too long and find that we can't go to our own Gite as the weeks we want have already been booked by paying guests!

  • Hi

I think you should have to confirm the agent" What is the minimum price of this?" Then you will be take another step about it.
